Job Title: Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk

Location: Charlotte, NC

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In-Person)

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) in any industry and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, supporting the company's cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and coding for Accounts Payable.
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers for Accounts Receivable.
• Manage payment cycles and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile account balances and review financial statements for accuracy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all transactions.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Perform data entry and maintain accounting databases.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable in any industry.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a **fast-paced environment** and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus.
